At the 2014 Royal Rumble PPV, Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt's rivalry culminated in an incredible opening match, with Wyatt coming out on top. Soon after, the Royal Rumble match kicked off, and fans began patiently waiting for the arrival of Bryan. He had become a huge name by that point, and possibly the biggest underdog in WWE history. Fans were almost sure that he would come down to the ring and end up winning the whole thing.
When Rey Mysterio came out at #30, fans were livid. For the rest of the match, fans completely took over the show and their reaction resulted in one of the most unique moments in WWE history. A bunch of men were attempting to win a shot at the World title at 'Mania, but the fans were busy booing them and loudly chanting Bryan's name. When Batista won the match, the booing became even louder, and The Animal was visibly upset at the reaction to his big win.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
