#1 Triple H spikes Marty Garner
Triple H has one of the most devastating and protected finishing manoeuvres in professional wrestling. The Pedigree is a double underhook facebuster in which the Game places their head between his legs before locking their arms and driving them face first into the mat.
The Pedigree has put away many opponents throughout Triple H's illustrious career. However, the move never looked as heinous as when the King of Kings faced off against Marty Garner back in 1996.
On the June 1st, 1996 episode of WWF Superstars, Triple H, then Hunter Hearst Helmsley, took on Marty Garner. Garner was primarily an enhancement talent, used to put over Triple H, Jeff Jarrett, and Marc Mero.
The former Blue Blood made quick work of Garner, and three minutes after the match began, Helmsley set Garner up for the Pedigree. However, something went wrong, as it seemed that Garner may have thought he was taking a double under hook powerbomb, overshooting the jump. Garner ended up being spiked on his head, suffering some neck damage.
Garner would recover, and would eventually go on to work for ECW for a brief time.
