#3 Emma gets fired for shoplifting and then brought back to WWE

Emma was only gone from the company for hours
Emma was only gone from the company for hours

Emma had been on the main WWE roster for a few months when it emerged she had been arrested for shoplifting. She was alleged to have stolen an iPad case while using a self-checkout machine at Walmart, so WWE asked no questions and released her from her contract in 2014.

A female WWE star said her life is in danger. Details HERE

However, while it transpired that the item Emma was alleged to have stolen had simply not been scanned properly in the till WWE was forced to consider that they had perhaps been a little harsh in terminating her contract. Especially as other Superstars in the company had committed more serious crimes and were not fired.

They released the following statement on WWE.com.

"Upon further evaluation, WWE has reinstated Tenille Dashwood (WWE Diva Emma) but will take appropriate punitive action for her violation of the law."

Consequently, WWE decided to very quickly rehire Emma, meaning that she was only fired from the company for a number of hours before she was reinstated. She would go on to do a day's worth of community service for the accidental theft and would enjoy a little while longer with WWE until she was released in 2017 for good this time.
