On an episode of WWE RAW, Lesnar and McIntyre went at it in the ring, but it seemed like McIntyre's strength was too much for even someone like Lesnar. He hit Lesnar with several Claymore Kicks, in the ring as well as on the ramp.
After putting Lesnar down on the ramp, McIntyre forgot the script in excitement, and Lesnar took it upon himself to remind him of the same. In this clip, you can hear Lesnar telling McIntyre to lift the WWE title. McIntyre immediately followed Lesnar's command and picked up the title to pose for the crowd. At WrestleMania, McIntyre defeated Lesnar for the WWE title. He has praised Lesnar on several occasions for helping him get over during their feud.
