Matt Riddle
Last year, when it was announced that WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg was coming back for one last hurrah at Super ShowDown against The Undertaker in a dream encounter, many fans didn't look thrilled. Both men were past their prime and it was dangerous for the duo to go at it in the ring. Around the same time, WWE Superstar Matt Riddle began targeting Goldberg and sent out several tweets taking a shot at him.
Riddle posted a video and stated that Goldberg is the worst wrestler in the business. He then realized that he went too far, and deleted the same. Riddle then went on to post another video, where he took a jibe at Goldberg's kneebar move. The rivalry kept going on for a long time, and the duo finally met in a backstage area at SummerSlam 2019, where they had a tense verbal exchange. This could have led to an interesting showdown in the ring, but WWE never used this epic social media rivalry on TV.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
