#2 Mickie briefly reaches the top

Mickie accidentally became WWE Women's Champion in France, defeating Victoria and the reigning champion Melina.

It had been nearly a decade since the WWE held a live event in France, but in 2007, the Sports Entertainment juggernaut gave fans a show to remember.

During the show, Women's Champion Melina battled Mickie James and Victoria for the title, in a match at the former MNM star should have retained.

Instead, though, James went for a pin on Victoria, who failed to kick out, making Mickie the new Champion.

Rather than have the match be changed to an elimination match, a la the NXT Title match earlier in this feature, a rematch was set for later that night, between new Champion Mickie James and former champ Melina.

In this bout, Melina regained the title, and the status quo of the 2007 Women's division returned to normal.
