Triple H did not rule in favor of Bill Goldberg

When Bill Goldberg came to WWE after his WCW run, he was portrayed as an indomitable wrestler for a large part of his time.

However, backstage, feelings were different. There was one wrestler with whom he had a lot of issues from his WCW days. Chris Jericho and Goldberg had never been friends with each other during their WCW days, and the feelings extended to WWE.

Jericho was heard to be trash-talking Goldberg to other wrestlers by the master of the Jackhammer. He did not take it well and confronted him, getting into a fight with him. Jericho came out better in that fight, and actually beat him and held him down.

Goldberg was furious and took Jericho to Wrestle Court. However, presiding was another wrestler who was not too fond of Goldberg -- Triple H.

He ruled in favor of Jericho and forced Goldberg to admit in front of everyone that Jericho was a better wrestler than him.
