Are Bobby Lashley's days as champion numbered?

Bobby Lashley defeated Finn Balor to win the Intercontinental title on the March 11th episode of Monday Night Raw, but don't expect him to hang on to the title for very long. In fact, between Balor deserving a crowning moment at WrestleMania 35, and Lashley seemingly being Brock Lesnar's next opponent for the Universal title, the idea makes sense.

Beyond that, it allows Lashley to exit The IC title picture without much problem, especially if WWE can find a way to protect Lashley in defeat and Balor can have the title run he was meant to have all along. If nothing else, it will at least make the WWE Universe for the time being and subsequently quiet them down about Balor being misused.

In the end, the WWE Universe is going to be very upset if WWE doesn't do something spectacular with Finn Balor at this year's WrestleMania and what better way to do that than to finally give Balor the title back. Maybe WWE can even bring back The Demon persona for good measure, which will make fans even happier at WrestleMania 35.
