#2 Randy Orton could lose the WWE Championship before Survivor Series
Having just won the WWE Championship at Hell in a Cell, Randy Orton is scheduled to face Roman Reigns in what might be the main event of Survivor Series. The match would work thanks to the stellar promo and character work of both Superstars, but WWE hardly ever books Heel vs. Heel matches, especially of such a high-profile.
Reigns is not dropping the Universal Championship any time soon, so The Viper could end up without the WWE title before Survivor Series comes around. His feud with Drew McIntyre is not over, with the two brawling all over ringside to end this week's episode of RAW.
They could have one final match in the coming weeks, with the former WWE Champion regaining the belt. A match between babyface McIntyre and heel Reigns at Survivor Series would be huge. There are very few matches WWE could currently book that are bigger, making this a real possibility.
The WrestleMania 35 rematch would be a natural headliner for Survivor Series, but WWE could indeed keep Randy Orton in the spot and go ahead with the main event match with two villains. The main event scene on RAW could be very interesting in the coming weeks.
