#1 Sami Zayn could lose the Intercontinental Championship before Survivor Series
The least natural 'Champion vs. Champion' match at this year's Survivor Series is between the Intercontinental Champion, Sami Zayn, and the United States Champion, Bobby Lashley. It is another match between two heels but isn't nearly as compelling as Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton.
The two do have history, with Zayn's segment with Lashley's 'sisters' on RAW in 2018 best left in the memories of WWE fans. It may be a pretty safe bet for this match to be changed before Survivor Series, to make it much more exciting. Lashley has been dominant on RAW, alongside The Hurt Business, so he likely won't lose his US title any time soon.
The Great Liberator, on the other hand, is on the verge of beginning a feud with Daniel Bryan over the IC title. The two in-ring artists shared some words regarding their visions for SmackDown's midcard belt. Their confrontation last week may have foreshadowed a feel-good IC title victory for Bryan in the coming weeks.
In the current circumstances, Bryan would be a much better opponent for Lashley than Zayn. They could have an incredible hard-hitting match, with Lashley's raw strength and impressive moveset possibly meshing perfectly with Bryan's immaculate selling and technical brilliance.
If only one match could be changed, this should be the one. Daniel Bryan vs. Bobby Lashley would instantly improve Survivor Series 2020.
