Brock Lesnar won the Universal Championship after defeating Goldberg at WrestleMania 33 last year. Since then, he's defended the title against the likes of Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, and Braun Strowman. With only a handful of appearances in the last year, Lesnar has lost fans' interest in him and the coveted championship.

After cruising through Reigns at Extreme Rules, Bobby Lashley looks to have found his momentum back and should become the number 1 contender for the Universal Championship. The WWE Universe wants a regular champion who can defend the title day in and day out and make the prestigious championship relevant.

Come to SummerSlam next month the Universal Championship desperately needs to change hands with a full-time worker holding it and not a part-time wrestler like Brock Lesnar.
