Maybe this is what the WWE is missing currently

The Hardcore Championship wasn’t exactly everyone’s cup of tea during its run, and yet whenever it was featured on the card, it had the audience interested. The title was silly, it was somewhat meaningless, and most of the time it was used as a tool to get lower mid-carders and jobbers onto a card for a payday of sorts.

In the present day, however, the WWE could do so many wonderful things with this title. It sounds wacky and a little bit risky, but it would certainly get people talking about the product.
