When you include the word Heavyweight in any championship name, it automatically makes things feel more important. That’s because over the years we’ve been conditioned to believe that the Heavyweight champion of the world is the baddest man on the planet, and if WWE book it correctly the same could be true of the Light Heavyweight Title.
This belt could be the perfect springboard towards an eventual World Title shot, with the likes of Sami Zayn utilising it in order to gain some more big match experience.
It could even be used it in the same vein as the X-Division Championship in TNA whereby you can cash in the title for an opportunity at becoming the WWE/Universal Champion.
