#1 The Curtain Call
The Kliq was one of the most dominant WWE groups during the mid-1990s. It comprised Sean Waltman, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and for a short while, Justin Credible. They used to influence the company and also each other's career in a positive way.
Due to some misunderstanding, they decided to go separate ways in 1996. They meet each other inside the ring at Madison Square Garden on May 19, 1996, for the final time. Scott Hall and Kevin Nash were going to join WCW while the rest of the members decided to stay behind and form the nucleus of D-Generation X.

During the house show, most of the group members fought individual matches. But they broke the protocol by gathering and congratulating each other inside the ring. Their actions, dubbed as the "Curtain Call," infuriated WWF management. It also delayed the stardom of Triple H. Instead, it gave rise to a future superstar, Steve Austin who helped WWF defeat the WCW in the Monday Night Wars.
Steve Austin received all the attention which Triple H was supposed to get, and WWF got their major superstar.
