Almas is the NXT Champion for a very good reason; He is amazing in the ring and his character lends its self wonderfully to that of an arrogant champion. Ricochet is debuting in NXT and will soon find himself up against the likes of Adam Cole, Aleister Black, Kassius Ohno and Velveteen Dream. The man sitting atop that mountain forever is Almas and Ricochet will be aiming for the top straight away.

With Johnny Gargano now seemingly back to his feud with Ciampa and then possibly moving up the main roster, NXT will need an underdog babyface to finally make a big time and win the NXT championship like Sami Zayn.
