Apart from a few feuds, Lashley's second run with the company has been lacklustre, to say the least. His current feud with Braun Strowman comprised of arm wrestling and tug of war contests.
Braun Strowman has pinned him clean on two occasions in a matter of a couple of weeks. If somehow, Strowman wins the 24/7 title, then, dethroning him as champion might bring the balance in Lashley's favor.
Lashley could even win the title without involving Braun Strowman and could have a fresh run with the championship by keeping his current feud aside. This run might also lead to the return of Lio Rush, who is still in contract with WWE till 2020 if both WWE and Rush agree.
