What a Rush! One of the most iconic tag teams in the history of professional wrestling with their awesome gimmick and badass look. Alongside Road Warrior Animal, the duo were a top draw throughout the 1980s, revolutionized tag team wrestling and won many championships.

The duo tore through GCW and AWA before earning the NWA World and International Tag Titles (wrestling for both NWA and All Japan) and proved capable of drawing better houses than main event singles wrestlers.

The duo jumped to the WWE in 1990 and were eventually made the WWE world tag team champions.

They were larger then life. Just seeing them on TV gave you goose bumps. And whether they were heels or faces, they still were respected and enjoyed by fans all over. Their incredible finisher "The Doomsday Device" looked so devastating and amazing when they executed it. Hawk and Animal were individuals that made the 80's such an exciting moment in wrestling history.

Few other tag teams, if any, can say that they could replicate that kind of success. So while there have been many teams that, in more recent years, have amassed more titles and achievements, there hasn't been a team since the Road Warriors that can not only define bad ass in the way that they did, but that can also be so decorated in many different promotions with such different philosophies on professional wrestling.
