Natalya was a regular on TV when WWE incorporated Total Divas into its storylines. In an episode of WWE RAW in 2013, AJ Lee bashed the cast of Total Divas, in what many deem as AJ's version of CM Punk's Pipebomb. This led to AJ successfully retaining her Divas title in a Fatal-Four Way match, which also featured Natalya. Tyson Kidd and Natalya were both a part of The Hart Dynasty, around a decade ago. The couple was in a relationship since 2001.

They finally got married in June 2013, and their marriage was featured on the first season of the reality show. Ever since then, Natalya and Kidd have made several appearances on Total Divas. Back in 2014, the couple had an argument that almost spoiled their New York trip. Thankfully, the two resolved their issues on an episode of Total Divas. Natalya is still an active Superstar on the WWE roster, while Kidd retired following a career-ending injury in a dark match against Samoa Joe, back in 2015. He later took on the role of a backstage producer for WWE.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
