Both The Miz and Maryse have had successful careers in WWE. The couple got engaged in 2013 and got married in the Bahamas a year later. Maryse appeared on Total Divas for the sixth and seventh seasons, as the main cast member. Unlike a lot of other couples, The Miz and Maryse mostly had a great time together on Total Divas.

Back in early 2017, when The Miz and Maryse were feuding with John Cena and Nikki Bella, the villains mocked Cena and Bella on an episode of SmackDown, which WWE dubbed as "the lost episode of Total Divas". They went on to lose their Mixed Tag Team match against Cena-Bella at WrestleMania 33. In November 2017, The Miz and Maryse had a heated argument on Total Divas when The Miz learned that Maryse had listed their home for sale. The couple later got their own reality TV show, named Miz & Mrs. The Miz and Maryse are happily married and are parents to two beautiful children.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
