5 Twists that Could Happen on the RAW after the Royal Rumble

Would Rey Mysterio stay back for another spell?
Would Rey Mysterio stay back for another spell?

The go-home episode before a WWE pay-per-view often disappoints. By the same token, the fallout episode following the bigger pay-per-views seldom do so, really. We believe that the next episode of RAW will be absolutely power-packed. So, we present 5 crazy things that could happen during the show.

Mind you, this is a speculative article. At best, this is merely fantasy booking. So, these are not necessarily predictions but suggestions about what should be done, to make the following episode of RAW a must-watch.

Do you think any of the possibilities outlined will happen during the course of the show? Let us know in the comments section below.

Let's begin with something that would really get a lot of fans quite excited indeed.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#5 Jason Jordan attacks Seth Rollins

This could be the biggest heel turn of the year
This could be the biggest heel turn of the year

It is inevitable, isn't it? Nobody gets a bigger negative reaction than Jason Jordan on RAW, not even Roman Reigns. The WWE Universe has been patiently waiting for him to turn heel, and give in to the boos. The first step towards that possibly happened at the Royal Rumble.

Owing to both a real life and a kayfabe injuries, Jason Jordan sat out for a majority of his Royal Rumble match. Seth Rollins tried his best, but could not overcome the force known as The Bar. As a result, we now have brand new RAW Tag Team Champions.

We have a feeling that Seth Rollins will not want to team up with Jason Jordan after what happened. He may even decide to let go of his Championship rematch.

The two men could have a confrontation in the squared circle, and when Rollins' back is to Jordan, the latter could attack, initiating a long-term program between the two men.

#4 Ronda Rousey challenges Stephanie McMahon

Maybe there was more to this handshake than meets the eye?
Maybe there was more to this handshake than meets the eye?

Remember when Ronda Rousey teamed up with The Rock to take out Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 31? Since then, fans have wanted a confrontation between the two women. Could Rousey claim that she only returned to challenge the top boss? If she does, the mainstream coverage would be huge!

Of course, fans may be disappointed that Rousey would not be in a match with Charlotte Flair or Alexa Bliss or Asuka. At the same time, one must remember that Stephanie McMahon is a name that a lot more fans are familiar with. Also, the WWE Universe would love to see her destroyed by Ronda Rousey.

Could the first step towards a future WrestleMania confrontation take place on RAW? We certainly think it could, and if it does, WWE will continue to stay in the news after RAW 25 and the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

The road to WrestleMania will well and truly begin, after this...

#3 David vs. Goliath encounter

Could Strowman and Mysterio square off?
Could Braun Strowman and Rey Mysterio square off on RAW?

In the world of make-believe combat, it's always been the 'Land of the Giants'. Rey Mysterio has always fought the tough battle, against all odds. Could he challenge the Monster Among Men next? It would certainly be an intriguing encounter.

Whether it was The Big Show or The Great Khali, WWE always squared Mysterio off with towering opponents, during his prime. Strowman is the next big thing (due apologies to Brock Lesnar for using his original moniker), and this could be a money feud. Of course, this is if Mysterio's deal wasn't a one-off affair.

#2 The return of Big Cass

Now this could really spice things up
Now this could really spice things up for good

As it stands right now, Samoa Joe and Jason Jordan are hardly in a situation to compete. Jeff Hardy isn't, either! The WWE roster seriously needs big superstars to return and make their mark on RAW. Big Cass could be just what the doctor ordered.

Big Cass was seen at a Live Event recently, fueling rumors of his return. And yes, he was moving without crutches, making his return seem quite imminent. Could RAW be the place where he makes his stand again, no pun intended.

Cass could have a variety of feuds against babyfaces like Balor, Reigns and Rollins, going forward. Even Strowman could benefit from a battle with the 7-foot monster.

#1 John Cena challenges The Undertaker at long last

Cena and The Undertaker are both in Philadelphia, for the Royal Rumble
Cena and The Undertaker are both in Philadelphia, as of now

Everyone expected John Cena to call out The Undertaker at RAW 25. Conversely, some even expected The Undertaker to call Cena out. The fact of the matter is that neither happened. Maybe they were waiting for the right moment.

Maybe this week's episode of RAW is the right stage for this dream match to be set up, before the raucous Philadelphia crowd. Cena and The Undertaker are in town. We're sure that the crowd will be excited.

That concludes our fantasy booking article. Let us know which of these possibilities you think could take place on RAW.

We'll see you in a few hours, for live coverage of RAW!
