When WWE announced that Hall of Famer Goldberg was set to make a return at WWE Super ShowDown 2019 to face The Undertaker, fans had a mixed response. Many were excited to see the dream match, while others didn't want to see two 50-year olds battling it out inside the ring.

NXT's Matt Riddle immediately began targeting Goldberg on Twitter. He posted tweets after the show belittling Goldberg for his performance and calling him "the worst wrestler in the business".
What’s wrong with these WCW guys? First Goldberg then Booker T and now a really boring wrestler who hates barefoot Bros (Lance Storm) and last but not least Y2J. It’s almost like you all wanna get beat up before you retire “Listen and learn Bros” https://t.co/faJPySpiQPpic.twitter.com/prvXoNuREY
For the next few months, Riddle kept posting tweets addressed to Goldberg and the two had a brief backstage confrontation at SummerSlam 2019. Goldberg never tweeted back at Riddle but took several shots at him in interviews.
Goldberg recently made a return and had a short-lived Universal title reign on SmackDown, but we have yet to see an in-ring confrontation between these two behemoths. It would be nothing short of intriguing to see these two Superstars go at it inside the squared circle so that their long social media feud can finally be put to rest.

He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback.
