Undertaker debuted as the American Bad Ass at Judgement Day in May 2000

It has been speculated that Undertaker could return with the American bad ass gimmick that he used during the Attitude Era from 2000 until 2003.

With Kid Rock entering the Hall of Fame this year it has been speculated he could perform 'American bad ass' live at WrestleMania, the song that Undertaker had used in 2000, as he makes his way to the ring. It may seem slightly odd seeing a 53-year-old man riding a bike to the ring, played out by a much-maligned artist, but it is entirely possible this could happen.

It makes sense given that at last years 'Mania Taker left his hat and coat in the ring after his defeat to Roman Reigns in the main event. Many had assumed that this had meant the deadman had retired, this now looks unlikely but what could be inferred is that it was an end to the Undertaker's deadman character and not his career. If Taker were to go back to his American bad ass days, it would humanize him and allow a better send off for him when he does eventually retire.

Whilst many prefer Undertaker in his iconic deadman character, it is entirely logical that the WWE could bring him back as the American Bad Ass, considering everything that has happened recently and the timing. With Taker's career coming to an end, he could bow out with a character that is much more like him in real life and to give him a proper send-off with him on a motorcycle riding off into the sunset.
