There were so many things that happened this week. The Monster Among Men was injured and taken out, Ronda Rousey bounced back from the thrashing at Survivor Series, Charlotte Flair said she'd take down Ronda again if need be and more.
We were introduced to the "New" Daniel Bryan who proclaimed that the "YES" movement was now dead. During the course of the two shows, many questions were answered. Like, will Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey face off again at the Royal Rumble?
AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan will face off at TLC though it looks highly likely that Daniel Bryan is taking that one. And of course, there was a strange segment between Shane McMahon and The Miz.
Even then there were still some questions which were still left unanswered. Let's have a look at a few of them:
#1 Where is Becky Lynch?
As earlier stated in the previous articles, Becky Lynch is "The Man" right now. One of the highlights of the week, especially From SmackDown Live was the absence of Becky Lynch.
When Lynch was punched in the face by Nia Jax (for which she has received a lot of flak as well as a lot of heat already), it put her out of her Survivor Series match with a concussion.
Becky Lynch tried to play it down as she made an appearance on SmackDown on the very next night and named Charlotte Flair as her replacement for the match against Ronda Rousey.
But even now, in the second week since the hit, Becky is missing from TV which would raise questions about her health and well-being. Especially because it's not been that long since Alexa Bliss suffered a concussion.
#2 What's going on with the US Championship?
It is just strange. It is very hard to make sense of it right now but apparently, no one really cares about the US Championship anymore. No one is bothered.
It has been given so less attention that one would be hard-pressed to think when was the last time that title was involved in a feud. It does come down to one sweeping realization that the title holder, Shinsuke Nakamura is just not being put in a feud with anyone.
Which in itself is a shock because he's a proven performer who is just not getting the right opportunities and by the looks of it, just wasting away. In a show where monotony has developed at an alarming rate(The Bar were involved in a match against The New Day for the umpteenth time), it's just hard to fathom why WWE is not doing more with Nakamura.
#3 What if Braun Strowman can't compete at TLC?
Braun Strowman will be undergoing surgery for the injury on his elbow and it's not sure that he'll be able to make it back on time.
What's strange is that even then an angle involving him and Baron Corbin was created on which Braun's match against Lesnar and Baron Corbin's future as the General Manager depends.
With news coming out that Alexa Bliss will be becoming the new General Manager of Raw, it creates an intriguing situation and no clear path as to how everything falls in place at Raw. How will Braun feature at TLC? Or will he even feature at TLC? and what about the Universal Championship match?
Will we have a new contender? (Mcintyre?) fighting for it or will it still be Braun? Braun's injury has raised a lot of questions.
#4 Will there be a Miz-Mcmahon Feud or a Miz-Mcmahon union?
It was a strange segment on SmackDown Live when Miz invited Shane Mcmahon to Miz TV and then started talking about how Shane had won the World Cup tournament for SmackDown Live and how Shane was the last man to be eliminated from team SmackDown.
Miz concluded by asking Shane to become his tag team partner in a team which would be the "Best Team in the world". In the current scenario, either way, it is going to be an interesting prospect.
Because if Shane doesn't turn heel then he'll end up feuding with The Miz which could culminate in a match between two at either TLC or Royal Rumble. On the other hand, if Shane does turn heel it could lead to a Miz-Shane Union, a combo that could work wonders for SmackDown Live.
#5 Will the Dean Ambrose-Seth Rollins match have an added stipulation?
Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins have been at each other's throats for a while now. Finally, they will go head to head at TLC for the Intercontinental Championship.
Many things have been said by Dean Ambrose. Sometimes maybe even crossing the line by mentioning Roman Reigns' Leukemia as well in the feud(which is very hard to take sometimes in good taste).
But either way, both Seth and Dean are great performers and step by step they have taken the feud to the next level. The hype, the storyline, the characters, everything seems written perfectly and it's hard to point out any shortcoming in any of it.
For a feud like this WWE can even take the luxury of going the whole hog and setting extreme stipulations for this match. With the kind of heat that is generated in this match, it is very well capable of pulling it off.
