The Glorious Bobby Roode was one of the stars who was conspicuously absent from the WWE Super ShowDown card. With AJ and Samoa Joe enjoying success on SmackDown, Bobby Roode is the only one of the TNA originals not involved in a major storyline at this point.

Bobby and Chad Gable have been facing the Ascension in losing efforts which might be affecting the psyche of the glorious one. If Roode and Gable lose again against the Ascension, it might be the final straw for Bobby. Bobby Roode turning heel would propel him to new heights, and he could also get involved in the title picture.
