At WWE Money in the Bank, Asuka climbed to the top of the ladder on WWE headquarters' roof to become the third Mrs. Money in the Bank.

The following night on Monday Night RAW, Becky Lynch came to the ring with the briefcase. "The Man" introduced Asuka to the ring before going to explain the briefcase did not contain a contract for an instant title shot, but the title itself. "The Empress of Tomorrow" was now champion. Asuka danced around the ring as she celebrated the news.

Lynch then revealed that she would be leaving to become a mother. The announcement stopped Asuka in her tracks and in a truly wonderful and heart-warming moment, they embraced. Asuka's genuine surprise and joy at the news made this a special and unforgettable moment in 2020.

On December 11, Lynch took to Instagram to announce that Roux had arrived. The picture showed both Lynch and Rollins holding the tiny hand of their brand new baby.

Becky Lynch is expected to return to WWE in 2021.
