#1 Roman Reigns returns as a heel at WWE SummerSlam

"The Big Dog" Roman Reigns made his shocking return to WWE at SummerSlam this August. At the end of the main event between The Fiend and Braun Strowman, Reigns came out of nowhere and destroyed them with a new, angrier, take-no-prisoners attitude. Reigns was back and better than ever. He was bigger, stronger, faster, and way more menacing.
In the following weeks, a stoic and stern Reigns employed Paul Heyman's services before winning the WWE Universal Championship in a three-way match with The Fiend and Strowman at Payback.
His feud with his cousin Jey Uso has been nothing but Oscar-worthy as the "Tribal Chief" Reigns' character and promo work has been exceptional.
Reigns has not only revitalized and revolutionized his career, but he has elevated all those that surround him, as Jey Uso has been in and around the main event.
Paul Heyman has added a new and exciting addition to his character, Drew McIntyre looked every bit Reigns' equal. Kevin Owens has recently propelled to the top of SmackDown after months of being lost on the blue brand.
Roman Reigns' explosive return to WWE after a six-month hiatus was an unforgettable moment in its own right. But what has followed since the "Tribal Chief's" comeback is even more so.

His career revival and the elevation of several others have made SmackDown appointment viewing the most-watched wrestling show on television.
