When one talks about the greatest WWE Superstars of all time, Stone Cold Steve Austin's name is bound to come up somewhere near the top, or at the first spot. Austin was one of the major reasons why WWE managed to beat WCW in the Monday Night War and buy it off in March 2001 to mark the end of the Attitude Era. The rivalry between Vince McMahon and Austin is widely regarded by fans as possibly the greatest of all time.

Austin made his way to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009. He was recently seen on the Raw Reunion episode, where he closed the show by drinking beer with a string of WWE legends and Hall of Famers.

#5 Austin has a bad day in the ring

During Austin's early run in WWE, he got a chance to mingle with several stars who had already established themselves in the company. Austin aligned himself with "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase soon after his arrival in WWE. He once got an opportunity to wrestle Yokozuna during a tour to South Africa.

When wrestlers travel to other countries for shows, they seldom like the sudden change of diet and the kind of food they consume. It sometimes ends up upsetting their stomach. Austin revealed that when Yokozuna slammed him to the mat, things took a turn for the worse and he ended up soiling his pants. Luckily, Austin was wearing black gear that night and immediately told Yoko to do the finish.

#4 Austin's beer celebration in Japan

One of the biggest highlights of Stone Cold's illustrious career has been his beer bash celebrations. Austin's beer bashes have given us some of the biggest and most memorable moments in the history of WWE. One that immediately comes to mind is when Austin came out to the ring in a beer truck and proceeded to give The Corporation (Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, and The Rock) a beer bath in one of the greatest moments in the history of Monday Night Raw.

Austin recalled a beer celebration in Japan, alongside Stacy Keibler and The Dudley Boyz, and stated that a total of 128 beers were used that night. He added that lots of beer gets spilled and wasted, so as to make sure that he doesn't get hammered at the end of the celebration.

#3 Ridiculous names pitched to Austin

When Austin requested a gimmick change back when he donned the persona of The Ringmaster, he was given a bunch of ridiculous names by the creative team. Otto von Ruthless, Ice Dagger, and Fang McFrost were just a few of several names that were pitched to Austin.

The Rattlesnake talked about watching an HBO special and coming up with the idea of a ruthless character, which he then pitched to WWE. The officials pitched temperature-based names to Austin, which irked him to no end. Thankfully, none of these names were passed and Austin got the idea of 'Stone Cold' during a conversation with his now ex-wife.

#2 The confrontation with Mike Tyson

One of the biggest reasons Vince McMahon managed to get an upper hand over WCW was the fact that he succeeded in getting Mike Tyson for WrestleMania 14. Tyson and Austin had a confrontation on an episode of Raw, on the road to WrestleMania. The segment ended with Tyson shoving Austin, and chaos ensuing soon after.

Austin revealed a funny bit from the moment, stating that once the brawl almost kicked off, a bunch of $100 bills flew out of Tyson's suit, and some of his handlers got on their knees and began picking up those bills.

In what many deem as one of the greatest SmackDown moments of all time, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Booker T got into a brawl inside a supermarket! The brawl kicks off with Booker attacking someone he thinks is Austin from behind. He soon realizes that he attacked the wrong guy. Austin emerges behind Booker and cracks open a beer can. A hilarious beatdown ensues, which ends when Austin flees the scene as sirens are heard in the distance.

Austin confirmed the rumor that the total cost of damages in the supermarket was $10,000! It surely was worth it though, as the brawl is still fresh in the minds of the WWE Universe, and never fails to crack a fan up, thanks to Austin's hilarious antics during the beatdown.
