Speaking of Triple H and Sheamus, the first thing that comes to my mind is the hellacious street fight between the two at Extreme Rules back in 2010. The Game left definite imprints of kendo sticks on the back of The Celtic Warrior before dropping the match and getting written off WWE TV.

However, despite that explosive rivalry, the two are reportedly buddies with many rumors suggesting that Sheamus quickly rising through the ranks in WWE was due to the two being friends although there's no proof of the same.

There were reports that Sheamus was also Triple H's gym buddy at a time, a claim that he's since debunked in an interview with Paddy Power.

“We went to the gym three times together in Australia, that was it....The green-eyed monster was everywhere in the place at the time and that’s where the rumours started that I was Triple H’s workout buddy, which is not the case."

However, he did acknowledge how he first got in touch with The Game in the same interview. William Regal, Sheamus' mentor from his early days had introduced him to Triple H:

"...he is very close to Triple H, so he kind of introduced me to Triple H from there, and that’s kind of like how that relationship started.”
