Seth Rollins has had unlikely tag partners as well
After disbanding from long-term American Alpha tag team partner Chad Gable, former one half of the NXT Tag Team Champions, Jason Jordan was drafted over to Monday Night RAW, where he was revealed as the kayfabe son of Kurt Angle. Shortly afterward, Jordan was involved in feuds against the likes of Elias and The Miz. In December of 2017 though, Jordan replaced an injured Dean Ambrose and started teaming up with Ambrose's fellow Shield stablemate Seth Rollins.

Jordan and Rollins' alliance certainly felt very odd but surprisingly enough, the duo did have amazing chemistry alongside each other and on 25th December, 2017, the duo pulled off a major shock when they defeated Cesaro and Sheamus to win the RAW Tag Team Championship. With this win, Jason Jordan became the first WWE Superstar in history to win the RAW, SmackDown, and NXT Tag Team Championships.
However, at Royal Rumble, Jordan and Rollins eventually lost the titles back to The Bar, as the former was eventually written off TV due to his neck injury.
