Following a match with each other at SummerSlam 2012, Kane and Bryan were suffering from anger management issues, as a result of which then-RAW General Manager AJ Lee would ask both men to join Dr. Shelby's anger management classes and eventually asked the two to "hug it out". This led to the formation of Team Hell No, who despite a lot of bickering and disagreement between themselves even during matches would end up winning all their bouts.
After a win over the Prime Time Players, Kane and Bryan would eventually challenge and win the WWE Tag Team Championships from then-champion Kofi Kingston and R-Truth in what is considered as one of the most shocking and dramatic wins of all time in WWE.
