The Usos have been the most consistent tag team on SmackDown Live ever since the brand split that took place in 2016. They have held the titles on numerous occasions and have almost always been in the tag team title picture on the blue brand.

At Fastlane 2018, the Usos had defended their SmackDown tag team championships against the New Day. The Bludgeon Brothers had interrupted the match leading to a disqualification finish. And, at Fastlane 2019, last Sunday, the Usos put their titles on the line against Shane McMahon and the Miz.

Jimmy and Jey retained the championships on both the occasions and the Samoan twins will walk into the 2nd straight WrestleMania as tag team champions.
