WrestleMania 34: 5 unresolved mysteries still surrounding the event

WrestleMania 34 is almost upon us. The go-home shows for both WWE Raw and SmackDown Live are done and dusted - all that remains is for the huge event in New Orleans this Sunday.

WWE have always made sure to plan their flagship attraction carefully and this year is no exception.

The match card is heavily stacked with blockbuster events and there has been no shortage of hype surrounding each match.

There still is that hint of uncertainty around the event with a lot of mystery surrounding the show. This certainly adds to the hype and excitement leading up to the event, but this will also test the WWE's ability to deliver exciting and intriguing answers to these mysteries, and which could either make this WrestleMania a huge success or a huge disappointment.

#1 Braun Strowman's partner

Who will partner 'The Monster Among Men'?

Braun Strowman will be challenging for the Raw tag team title this Sunday and it has yet to be seen who he selects as his tag team partner.

His partner hasn't been revealed on WWE television in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania 34 which means that the WWE universe will finally get to see who 'The Monster Among Men' has selected at the live event.

There have been many names being thrown around in the past few weeks with regards superstars who could possibly partner Strowman at the event. One such name that has been mentioned a lot is that of Elias, but there have been rumors that Dean Ambrose or the Big Show could also be possible candidates.

Whoever the WWE decides on needs to be compatible with Strowman, and given the way the WWE has been hyping this angle, the person needs to be a relatively big name aswell.

#2 Will the Undertaker vs John Cena happen?

John Cena and the Undertaker have never faced each other at WrestleMania

John Cena has done everything possible in order to get the Undertaker to respond to his challenge to a match at WrestleMania 34.

We have still not heard from the Deadman and all eyes will be on WrestleMania 34 to see what response, if any, the Undertaker will have.

Whether the Undertaker and John Cena do compete in a match at WrestleMania 34 remains to be seen. However, the Deadman is likely to make an appearance at the event, which brings us to our next mystery.

#3 Will Charlotte be the one to end Asuka's undefeated streak

Will she end the steak?

All eyes will be on the battle for the SmackDown Live Women's Championship as Charlotte will look to defend her title against Asuka.

This match will have a massive outcome irrespective of whichever superstar wins. If Asuka is the winner, she would have won her first title since making her way to the main roster. If Charlotte successfully defends her title, this would make her the first person in the WWE to beat Asuka and bring an end to her undefeated streak.

One thing is for certain - there is a lot of anticipation and hype surrounding this match which promises to be one of the biggest matches at the event.

#4 Will Brock Lesnar be leaving the WWE after this match?

One of the biggest questions which have been going around during the past few weeks has been regarding Brock Lesnar's possible return to the UFC after WrestleMania 34.

There has been no official word on this matter but it does look likely that we will see 'The Beast Incarnate' making a return to the octagon.

#5 Will The Rock make an appearance?

This has been yet another area of uncertainty, with The Rock's appearance at this year's WrestleMania not being confirmed.

Reports have suggested that he was the first choice as a partner for Rhonda Rousey, but given his movie career, this did not happen.

A match at the event would be very unlikely, however it would be interesting to see how the WWE do decide to use him if he makes an appearance.
