#4 Who attacked Hideo Itami?

When Hideo Itami joined NXT, he was one of Triple H's biggest signings. An established star as KENTA, Itami was seemingly bound for an NXT Title shot.

At NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable in 2015, Itami was set to face Tyler Breeze and Finn Balor for a shot at the gold, but was found attacked backstage.

In reality, Itami was injured and unable to compete, but the backstage assault led to many theories as to who would attack the Japanese star?

Perhaps it was then NXT Champion Kevin Owens, who saw Itami as the most real threat to his title?

Or maybe Baron Corbin, who at the time had made his disdain for smaller Superstars clear.

Perhaps even, it was Samoa Joe, who just so happened to debut the same night.

In the end, we never got an answer, Itami returned several months later to no fanfare and no conclusion. Itami would never hold the title, and sadly is seen as one of NXT's biggest flops.
