5 Superstars who need to go back to NXT and 5 who need to be brought up to WWE

Bobby Roode may be the most over with the NXT fans as he's ever been.

#4 UP: The Revival

The Revival offers a dose of old school brawling to the main roster.

Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder are as close to The Brain Busters that we'll ever see in professional wrestling. In an era of high flyers, outlandish gimmicks and all sorts of extra theatrics, The Revival is a simple team of hard-hitting, no-nonsense brawlers.

These two have remained true to their motto of "no flips, just fists," which just signifies their simple style of locking opponents up and taking them down. While NXT tag team champions, Dash and Dawson proved themselves to be one of the very best tag teams in all of wrestling today.

A trip to the main roster now, will only strengthen the division, as well as strengthen overall competition.

#4 DOWN: The Ascension

Viktor and Konnor dominated while in NXT.

Whether one wants to admit this or not, The Ascension is by far the most dominate NXT tag team champions in the history of the yellow brand. Viktor and Konnor were headhunters in NXT, feared and respected by everyone on the roster.

To this day, their reign of 364 days as NXT tag team champions, ranks them at the very top of the all-time longest reigning list for NXT. When they made the transition to the main roster, I was convinced that these guys would do fantastic, and dominate the division. Unfortunately, WWE creative had different plans.

Since making their main roster debut, The Ascension has been treated like a complete joke, when the reality is, they could be providing some very entertaining moments. At this point, it only makes sense to let them go back to where they had so much success, let them make their case while they dominate, all over again.
