3. Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan's journey in the WWE has been nothing short of a roller coaster. This ride came to an abrupt stoppage in 2016 when he had to retire due to multiple concussions suffered over the years. However, the American Dragon stuck to his words and made his much-awaited return as a competitor in 2018.
In less than two years into his return, Bryan captured the WWE Championship after defeating AJ Styles. During this phase, Bryan evolved as a wrestler as he turned heel for the first time in almost seven years. He would go on to defend his title against Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35. After losing the championship to Kingston at WrestleMania 35, Bryan has struggled to win the title back, falling short on multiple occasions. Bryan has also been absent on WWE television lately.
Bryan is perhaps still the most notable face on the blue brand and likely to challenge for the World Championship once he returns.
