Randy Orton is rumored to be Drew McIntyre's opponent for the WWE Championship at Summerslam.

Randy Orton is arguably the hottest thing going in WWE right now. It is almost impossible to deny that when motivated, Orton is one of the best wrestlers in the history of the genre. However, the only catch here is the motivation that drives Orton. Orton has often faced criticism for being boring, by fans and critics alike.

However, that hardly seems to be the case right now. With the return of his Legend Killer gimmick, Orton seems more vicious and focused than ever. There have been countless rumors of Orton challenging for the WWE Championship at Summerslam.

If the rumors are correct, then the Viper may very well be on the path to capture his record 14th WWE World Championship. As per the current scenario, there appears to be no heel better established than Orton to dethrone Drew McIntyre as the Champion. Having Orton win the WWE Championship would open the doors to many intriguing storylines as there are many faces on RAW who could benefit from an angle with the Apex Predator.
