With Jon Moxley struggling to make it to Japan amid the pandemic, Bullet Club's KENTA has been forced to defend the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship Right to Challenge briefcase on numerous occasions. The Bullet Club star has been calling for Moxley but so far NJPW has already had the man defend his briefcase against the likes of Jeff Cobb, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Brody King among other notable names.
KENTA was set to put his briefcase on the line against Juice Robinson at Wrestle Kingdom 15, instead of earning his rightful title shot. But an injury to Robinson forced the promotion to call-off the match and instead KENTA will be defending his briefcase against Satoshi Kojima at Wrestle Kingdom 15.

In 2021 though, NJPW will have to bring back Jon Moxley, one way or another. Upon his return, Moxley will have to defend his title against KENTA and the Bullet Club star could go on to end the former's second title reign, as well.
