Thousand of fans across the world had tears in their eyes after they saw Kofi lift the title for the first time in his 11-year-long WWE career. What you may not know is that ten years ago, Kofi was about to receive a similar push.
However, Randy Orton used his influence to curb those plans and Kofi's probable Championship run never saw the light of the day. Fast forward to 2019, the Viper once again decided to pick a feud with the New Day member as he believes that Kofi is still not worthy of being the champion.

It will account for a poetic conclusion of a decade long rivalry with Kofi Kingston retaining his title tonight. In case, he fails to do so, the match will still narrate a heartbreaking story. It has the potential to turn into an intense feud that will bring the best out of both Superstars.
