#3 The match is cancelled altogether
Since things happened a little too close to the actual date of the PPV, maybe WWE decides not to deal with it by simply cancelling the scheduled match. They did so on Raw with a Dana Brooke/Natalya match but that was because it didn't fit into the framework of Raw and Elimination Chamber, but they didn't do anything wrong.
Maybe they replace it and have a rematch between the Revival and Chad Gable and Bobby Roode since the titles switched hands on Raw this week. Or maybe they have R Truth and a partner face Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev.
They could also throw one of the new recruits into a match last minute so that fans can see them on a bigger stage and so that the stars can get big-match experience.
It all comes down to how much WWE really wants to switch things around, but since it didn't happen to one of the Elimination Chamber matches, it could very well be simply cancelled.
