I know at first it doesn't sound like that much of a big deal but if Strowman enters the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, he will quite simply be the centrepiece of the match. That kind of spotlight does wonders for a superstar's popularity.
Strowman would easily be the only main event calibre superstar in the bout, meaning he'll be expected to win and when he does, it shows the WWE Universe that the creative team have faith in him again.

A 30-man battle royal means twenty-nine men will be thrown over the top rope by Strowman, allowing him to cement his status as a different breed of man. Many see the royal as a jobbers match just to get as many Superstars on the roster onto the card.
It'd even be seen as a step down for Braun but the manner in which he wins it is what will make all the difference.
