Ever since Bobby Lashley returned to WWE the night after Wrestlemania 34, fans have been dying to see a contest between these two powerhouses. Lashley himself has publicly stated the desire to face Lesnar in the past, and he recently added more fuel to fire.

Once seen as a potential replacement to Lesnar in WWE, the creative team have left no stone unturned to make Lashley's current run a disappointing one. He has gone on from becoming just another of Roman Reigns' bunny to a part of Jinder Mahal's meditation sessions to a rather confusing heel turn in which he has traded victories with Finn Balor.

Lashley vs Lesnar is still a dream match for many and the best way for WWE to resurrect Lashley's career is to make him destroy Lesnar in the middle of the ring during his match with Styles, possibly even costing him the match. It will instantly establish him as one of the top dogs of the red brand.

However, Lashley's inconsistent booking and him potentially being a part of Team RAW at the traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series match are the reasons why this possibility is not higher on the list.

Lesnar's future in the WWE is still unclear and if Vince Mcmahon indeed wants him to face Lashley, it's now or never.
