#2 Stop feeding him to "legends"
Why is it that every time a “legend” returns to Monday Night Raw, Rusev is the one that ends up on the receiving end of a finisher. I know it's nice when legends return to the WWE, they come back and receive massive ovations from the crowd, but why do we have to sacrifice the appeal of the current roster for the short-term excitement of an ex-wrestler?
Why do the WWE always have to send out some poor mid-card heel to receive a meaningless beating?
The justification behind it is always 'well they're getting a rub with a star.' In truth, however, they're being devalued by a part-timer. At Wrestlemania 32, Rusev received a Stone Cold stunner from Austin, upon Goldberg's return to RAW he received a spear, Lesnar squashed him in a match in Mexico and this week he received a sweet chin music from the Heartbreak Kid.
Like seriously, give the kid a break.
Rusev's constant involvement with these part-timers either displays the faith the WWE have in him or how much of a joke he's truly become. Either way, this has to stop. The former US champion deserves more than to be the butt of every joke on Monday nights. Stop presenting him as a comedy act to the fans and they'll start taking him seriously.
