Remember when The Fiend was an unstoppable monster? Well, Goldberg put an end to that. At Saudi Arabia's Super Showdown pay-per-view on February 27th, Goldberg destroyed The Fiend in under five minutes to capture the Universal Championship in a move that was frowned upon by many fans.

It was a typical Goldberg return. He came, he saw, he conquered, regardless of the wrestler involved and the harm done to WWE programming. He crushes his opponents, usually to widespread fan disdain.

But WWE do not mind the fan reaction; it is all about the buzz of Goldberg's return and resulting numbers that are boosted by his presence.

Therefore a feud with The Fiend would be a good way in repairing some of the damage done to the character. The Fiend has done well to rebuild himself and the addition of Alexa Bliss has been very beneficial to the character and a shot at redemption againt Goldberg would be another great way toward his resurrection.
