#1 Goldberg attacks Roman Reigns
Goldberg and Roman Reigns have unfinished business. They were on the road to WrestleMania 36 and set to clash for the WWE Universal Championship.
The match never took place as Reigns made the decision to stay home for the safety of his family and his new born babies during the throes of the COVID pandemic.
Braun Strowman took his place and defeated Goldberg for the championship in the strangest WrestleMania of all time.
At SummerSlam this past August, Reigns made a surprise return, complete with a new attitude and persona. A destructive and take no prisoners character, Reigns has run through all who stood in his way to capture the title that he never lost.
Since then Reigns has beaten and tormented his cousin Jey Uso. They are set for a "I Quit" match inside a Hell in a Cell that Reigns will most likely dominate and leave victorious.
The Goldberg-Reigns story is already written
This would be the perfect time for WWE to bring back Goldberg. The story is already written and all they need to do is press play.
If Goldberg were to return by blindsiding Reigns the same way he did to The Fiend at SummerSlam, he could set up the match they were supposed to have at WrestleMania. This would be the ideal way in which to execute it.
