Despite the reservations of many international fans, it seems likely that Minneapolis will be awarded a WrestleMania at some point in the near future. Whilst that trip doesn’t exactly sound that appealing, something that may twist the arms of some fans is the prospect of Brock Lesnar riding off into the sunset in his hometown.
The former University of Minnesota standout is a hero in those parts, and if he announces beforehand that he’ll walk away from the business following Mania in Minneapolis then ticket prices would surely surge.
He could even face another Minnesota alumni in the form of his good friend Shelton Benjamin.
