#1 John Cena puts his WWE career on the line
The return of crowds could bring back John Cena. The company is reportedly planning to bring him back on the first show anyway.
The 16-time World Champion may stick around for SummerSlam for a big match, potentially his final one if WWE can set the story up well enough. Cena could lay out his intentions to win his 17th world title, instantly gaining the attention of Roman Reigns.
Bobby Lashley would be a solid choice of opponent for John Cena, but the Universal Champion would fit better in this scenario. Reigns can goad the WWE legend into putting his career on the line for a shot at his title at SummerSlam. It would be more compelling than their feud in 2017.
This isn't a likely prospect, especially since Cena may rather retire at WrestleMania instead of SummerSlam. Nevertheless, this would give Roman Reigns even more heat than he currently has.
Fans were vocal in booing The Tribal Chief at WrestleMania, and the feeling will surely intensify if he retires one of the most popular WWE Superstars in history. Reigns could become an even bigger heel after SummerSlam, while John Cena ends his career on a high-profile note. Expect a big summer from WWE.
