#3 Commentator
The best commentary teams have always included at least one former wrestler. They can offer insight into the matches that someone who has never been in the ring could never understand while giving fans a face they recognise for the sake of familiarity.
Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. Mike Tenay and Bobby Heenan. Michael Cole and JBL. These duos were all popular because one of them was a former wrestler. For the most part, WWE’s commentators have been around for a long time, and Sting would freshen things up a bit.
He could get his bearings down in NXT before moving to Raw or SmackDown, or he could choose to be a permanent fixture in the developmental territory if he also decides he wants to coach at the Performance Center full-time.
Sting’s enthusiasm for the sport is unmatched, and his decades of experience would give him all the knowledge he needs. Once he learns the ins and outs of calling matches, he could become one of the most popular commentators in WWE.
