WWE has had storylines about power struggles almost every year, but it has been a long time since the company did an angle involving someone else purchasing controlling interest in WWE. Perhaps it’s time to bring it back.

As someone who stayed loyal to WCW during the Monday Night Wars, Sting would be the perfect person to challenge the McMahon clan for ownership of the company. There is already enough history for WWE to draw from for the story to make sense.

Sting could play a man who is still bitter about Vince McMahon coming in and closing the doors of the place he called home for more than a decade. How he got the money to buy the company wouldn’t be an important detail.

Battling the McMahon family could lead to a series of matches at Survivor Series to determine who gets control of the company. Sting could easily play the heel or babyface in this scenario, but it would be better if he was the bad guy so WWE’s eventual victory gets the right response from the crowd.

Any of these jobs would be a great way to use Sting, and if he is willing to participate, he could bring a lot to any storyline he is given.
