5 Ways WWE could book Carmella heading into WrestleMania 36

This seems to be the best option for Carmella. The reigning women’s tag team champions, Asuka and Kairi Sane have little competition on the Red brand and now that Asuka’s feud with Becky Lynch has culminated, the duo will need fresh opponents.

Since there is only one pair of the Women’s Tag Team Championships between two brands, WWE would consider involving the teams from SmackDown in the mix at WrestleMania 36. SmackDown’s Women’s division has two major tag teams, namely Fire and Desire and the team of Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.

While the chances that the team of Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose exists. But until the chances are low because Deville will likely turn her back on Rose soon.

Alexa and Nikki have lost to Sane and Asuka in the past so it would make sense to have a new team challenge the Japanese pair at the grandest event.

Speaking of new teams, WWE can capitalize on the newly formed bond between Naomi and Carmella. The two female Superstars have worked together in the past and there can be a No.1 Contender’s match at Elimination Chamber where they can defeat the other teams in competition. This is perhaps the likeliest option WWE will take at WrestleMania.
