At first sight, this seemed like a comedic team-up conjured to kill time till the injured Shawn Michaels made his return. Nobody expected them to win the titles and even retain them for months. Despite their vastly different styles, Steve Austin and Dude Love were an incredibly formidable tag team. The wacky shenanigans of Dude Love combined with The Rattlesnake's no-nonsense hard hitting style made them a force to be reckoned with.

This iconic pair up was short lived though as Steve Austin suffered a severe neck injury soon after, forcing them to vacate the titles and ending this tag team.
